So looking over the book, I'm noticing that aside from spells, we don't have many answers to either regen or ethereals handy. So I'm asking for advice on ways you guys think we can deal with these common threats.

For regen, the only things I see we can even do (ignoring SCs) are:
-specific lores on our slann (fire, metal, light, or uber spells)
    -terradons with bolas
    -flaming standard
    -laserdon
    -sallies
    -engine of the gods
    -ripperdactyl KB
    -ruby ring of ruin

Of these, some are obviously more realisitic than others. I don't think many people want to take terradons with bolas just for the anti-regen. The only way to get the flaming standard is taking it on TG or BSB (but we all know that the BSB will probably be carrying standard of discipline).

So I'm thinking that the best way to bring some anti-regen tools that are useful in other aspects are sallies, laserdon, engine, and taking the lore of light on a slann. What about you guys, other thoughts on how to deal with this?

    For etheral, we have:
    -spells
    -laserdon
    -engine of the gods
    -saurus characters with magic wargear
    -skink characters with magic gear
    -TG champ with magic weapon

Of these, I'm thinking that taking a lore with some magic damage, saurus characters with magic weapons, laserdon, and engine seem to be the best ways to cover your bases.

The only problem with most of these is that they rely entirely on you rmagic phase which is so fickle by nature. Does anybody have answers to these that don't realy entirely on your winds of magic roll?

Magic weapons or magic spells, take your pick for ethereal. For regen, the salamander is almost a no brainer.

Fire Bolas on the new Terradons too! Ruby ring of Rhuin for a fireball would also help.

Regen......... A cheap way to way to flaming attacks to where you need it would be a skink Chief BSB
With the flaming banner just chuck him in a unit of 10-20 skink skirmisher and fire away for a turn or two then jump back the the safety of cohort or saurus horde

Ghosts......... Chief on a terradon or ripperdactyl and a cheap magic weapon of your choice

If you want to solve the problem in the magic phase, your Bastiladon's laser beam is flaming, and you can follow that up with any spell you want, since the regen will be dropped at that point.

High Magic signature spell is flaming too.

Edit: I'm an idiot, it isn't flaming.

Soul Quench isn't flaming, just a lot of hits.

Fiery Convocation is flaming, and usefull for large units of trolls and the like.
For smaller units, fiery convocation isn't all that good.
The Bastiladon laser beam, EotG laser beam, swapping out a spell for fireball with the lore attribute and the salamander would be the best options IMHO.
