    Hello everyone!

I'm thinking of moving into the realms of the double Slann (dum dum dum!!) but as I've always previously used a single Slann I'm struggling to fit them in. Ideally I wanted to make a 2500 list as this is what we mostly play. I'm looking at a Shadow/Death combo with lots of bouncy shenanigans.

I feel as though I need focus and rumination on both and then I'll need contagion on one! I know what your thinking just stick with one slann then mate, but I want to try this style and combo'ing off some craziness! So what disciplines do you choose?

Also if a Slann is stuck with TG can he be swapped with another Slann? Even if he can is this a good way to go or is it better to have two floaters? ( :jawdrop: )

I have only heard about this build of list (mines pretty boring double block of infantry with some variety) so how much is the smoke and mirrors used? If its used alot tactically is it a good idea to have multiple priests/chiefs? What about cloak of feathers?

The only other thing certain about the list will be some sallies to take advantage of the amount of hexes!!

Any and all help is appreciated!

    Ribbit.

I think the rules are pretty clear. Once a Slann is in a Temple Guard they can't leave it. So a Bunkered Slann and a solo Slann would not be able to swich places. Using two floating Slann allows you to use this combo which is almost tantamount to a war crime.

Sallies are definitely good with both Death and Shadow. I don't know what other units you should take. I guess it depends on personal taste and what you are fighting.

I have no idea what disciplines and magic items you should take. I'm not planning to run with two Slann anytime soon, not till 3000 points anyway since I like my Slann with lots of stuff. I did do a Slann and Carnosaur army once and aim to do so again.

I would not bother with skink priests. Shadow and Death don't have many magic missiles and you shouldn't have power dice to spare for skink casters with two Slann.

2500 is a bit tight for double slanns but it is doable. I tend to use life and another lore with double slanns so that, with cupped hands, they both have miscast protection.

As someone said, you aren't going to have many power dice left after two slanns have done their thing so a priest is not generally needed especially as non-cupped hands slann can carry dispel scroll/cube.

You have to think very carefully about the build as you don't have many points to play with at 2500. Try negotiating up with your opponents, even 2600 gives a lot more breathing room for equipping your slanns.
