Get into my lizardmen army again, just got the Lizardmen Battalion added to my collections and will be starting to get into it soon.

My current colour scheme at the moment is a bright yellow skin with red and orange scales.

I'll post some pictures of current paintjobs soon.

That's great, welcome back I guess!

It sounds like a really nice scheme, just remember to get enough contrast in there. How are you planning to paint your shields and weapons?

The weapons are generally either stone and gold/silver depending on things and the shields are green.

I don't really like using gold for their jewelry because it's quite similar to the skin colour, more of a silver with a brown wash.

Also, the eyes will be green.

Sounds like a nice colour scheme, I'm looking forward to see your paint work! Using silver instead of gold is a good idea, I like the look of silver with a Gryphonne Sepia wash (it's one of the old range, not sure how the current equivalent matches it. I need to try it soon, though, as I'm running out of the old one...).

As for the shields, I think green works well, but I would like to see some other colour on them. Personally, I think light blue or purple would go nicely with yellow/orange scheme.

I'll shamelessly link a picture of my own Saurus Warriors with a few different coloured shields, maybe it will help you to decide the colour...

Here's another site/tool I really like to use color scheme designer

Just pick your main color and then chose how many colors you want in you scheme. It's great to just play around with.
