    Hi all
After reading the "Flying Saurus of doom" thread, I thought he sounds like a bit of fun to play with. I always like a break from the norm. An how can you resist our greatest fighter flying around the board. Oh and seeing that look on your opponents face when you pick him up and move him 20" 1st turn :D
So I knocked a 1500pt list together to give him a run out. My go to character atm is Tetto (love what he brings to the board) so with him and Oldladin. I get to vanguard my Oldblood and then fly him straight into my opponents deployment in turn 1 (well if I want too)
I have so far played 3 games with this list. Had 3 wins and have had great fun playing with it.

Game 1 vs Lizards with a Saurus horde and lots of friends. Played Triumph and tretuary. Win for me. Oldladin picked off the friends then I ploughed my ancient stegadon into the horde. Backed up with a few buffs from Tetto. Pure carnage happened and over 2 turns of combat the ancient held the horde up while my Saurus unit flanked them. My scar bsb cowboy delivering the final killing blow to his bsb.

Game 2 vs wood elves. A young lad from our club so still learning. Played a standard battle line. Solid victory for me. Though Tetto did die through a double miscast (was bound to happen. I'd only finished painting him the night before!) Oldladin destroyed anything and everything he came into contact with.

Game 3 vs Ogres playing Blood forest. A great game which just kept on going, 7 turns before it final ended with a solid victory for me. Oldladin preformed amazingly again taking on all comers. I found teaming him up with my ancient on a charge is just devastating. Tetto yet again died due to a miscasts :'(

So if you fancy a break from the norm and want to try something a little different I can highly recommend you try out an Oldladin. If only to see your opponents face when you tell them he flies :-D

Here is the list I have been playing with.

I've been using this guy a lot and found him to be incredibly useful. The Oldblood profile is already great; the Fly move is simply brilliant to get some mobility in the list and deliver him to where he needs to be. I really like the idea of running him with Tetto!

I would recommend the Enchanted Shield/Sword of Might/Dawnstone build. He loses out on the S7, but gains much more against anything that's S6 or lower than the 2+/4++. With 5 S6 attacks (likely to be 6 with PF), he's still going to carve through things. You can also keep him near some Skinks to get the Look Out Sir against cannons and the like.

You can then shift the AoD over to your Scar-Vet for a 1+/4++ with S7. But my personal favourite is Sacred Stegadon Helm, Potion of Foolhardiness and Pigeon Plucker Pendant. 5 S7 attacks on the charge, D3 S5 impact hits, T6 with a 1+ and he gets a 5++ against all those nasty Flying things that are about these days - Daemon Princes, Chimeras, Cloak of Twilight Pegasus Masters, etc.
