Contest July-August 2018 Short Story Contest

Tip to last minute writers. I know you are in a hurry, but in your hurry, do not forget to save your work often.

I almost mahrlect up bad.

Assuming I get my piece done. That's two, so far. But if past contests are any bearing, most entries I receive are within the last 36 hours before the deadline which is good because as of writing this post, we have over 100 hours before the deadline. Plenty of time to write something...

What do you use to compose things?

MS Word. It's easier to put a WIP away and get back to it later. The spacing gets all goobered when I copy and paste into Lustria-Online but it will keep my font choices, at least L-O does since we upgraded the platform.

Before posting other people's stories I also copy and paste their stuff into MS Word for a quick spelling and grammar check, unless it's Mr. Scaletail whose editing is always immaculate. Then put it back to L-O. I also found it's easier to copy the template for Spoiler tags and put it in manually in MS Word. But I digress.

Heh ditto.

Just got to go over and fine tune.

Sirs, you do me a great dishonour!

Ratty Y'ttar brand edible trophies are a known delicacy, the recipe passed down through generations.
500 gallons of pigs blood, three gross of calves stomachs, 400 little tom kittens, monosodium glutamate, rats brains, I Can't Believe it's Not Warpstone, dung...
