To pull thos off right you have to be running a bab with the skaven pelt banner. It's a 600 point combo owing to the fact that your running the bsb cheaply. You could make him a cowboy but it wouldn't change much. Toss the bsb into a unit of 24 temple guard (6x4) and screen 'em with jungle swarms. The turn before you want to charge move the swarms into a flanking position. Either you get the charge or you get charged. Either way it doesn't matter. The idea is to hit with both units as near to simultaneously as possible. When both unots are in combat together activate the troglodon's roar (didn't include him in the initial combo because it's an area buff and is only an enhancer to this combo rather than a necessary part) to maximize the predatory instincts and poison attacks special rules. With those two buffs (poison and the roar) ahould give you, on average, 30 S5 non-poison attacks and 6 S5 auto-wounds. Basically you're maxizing the predatory instincts rule by making 6's twice as strong and doublong the chance for an extra attack. Against goblins or skaven slaves you should be killing 30 in one turn (taking the swarms attacks into comsideration). Haven't done the math against stronger units (did it at work and now drinking) but with those numbers it's worth giving a try.
The question is can the points be distributed some other way better. Swarms and troglodon arent rly good justby themselves, and feel quite expensive. Question is can you connect everything. It must feel great if u manage it, if its effective that is..
Looks like they will tie combat 1st round vs most elites if u can connect everything. After that its downhill as usual.
Dont take me wrong this is just a joke: "Another huge combo, if you dice 6's the whole game except in LD, I ;S Test you would win easily" What I mean is you are guessing your whole battleplan is goint to happen, but when playing they change so far from what you have thought. Infantry Deathstar unit are usually fed with chaff and never gets into worthy targets. Also bad placed swarms is going just to give free CR so the best positioning is on any of the corners of the nemy unit. So you can give the boost without taking so much attacks. Its better to face 1 front b2b and 1 support attack, than 3 or more flanked attacks.
