Just found this place, what forums here are good to check out? :D

Welcome to L-O!! What system are you in to? 8th edition, 9th age, Age of Sigmar, or Kings of War?
 
Well if you're interested in 8th, you can't do better than The Index. Everything you'll ever want is in here.

As for 9th, there aren't many new tacticas up yet, but our regular BatRep king is @SkavenInAZ. His mega thread and homage to his YouTube channel is updated frequently and he has a big section of 8th and 9th. Only recently he's ventured to AoS, so I guess just avoid the last few pages.

As for Kings of War, that section is slowly being built up! We've got a lot of experienced players with great advice for newbies to the system. Specifically @Itepixcauh and @BAE seem to be the local experts, so hit them up if you foray into that realm.

Besides that, the General Chat area has lots of good stuff going on. @NIGHTBRINGER has a mega thread of memes to entertain you for hours, while @n810 runs his very own custom avatar thread, so hit him up with any weird requests you might have.

And yes of course look at the paint galleries and short stories. You'll find no shortage of talent in these jungles.
 
Go and check out the Kings of War section for sure, great game, rules are free and you can use your WFB miniatures in it!

I usually post a new battle report each month and the tactics, and army building sections are quite active.

Welcome aboard! Lots of great tactics for 8th edition and KOW, fluff is great here and the painting threads are superb.

We certainly have you covered. @Qupakoco covered all the bases for non-Age of Sigmar goodies. I certainly can't fault for him for starting with the 8th edition Tactica Index. I feel all warm and fuzzy....and that's weird because I am a Skink zombie.

I am kind of working on that too, but a lot more informal. "I never liked ____, let's do _____ instead!"

You also seem to be avatar-less buddy. Perhaps @n810 can help you out. He has designed a goodly portion of the avatars on this site.
