Killer Plant Themed Unit Fillers?

I admit it, I am being lazy. I don't want to paint up another 12 Temple Guard to follow my Slann around. But I don't want to use the typical unit fillers, such as statues and the like. Since I almost exclusively use Life, I wanted to do something thematic with that. So, I thought about using barbed vines or killer plants, something that would be at home in Lustria. Anyone know of any minis out there that would work, or have any good conversion ideas that would follow that theme?

That sounds like it could be a really cool idea!

I don't know of any killer plant models on the market (doesn't mean there aren't any mind you) so you might be best trying to convert your own. Have a look at orc squigs maybe? There are a lot of different models for them, and they are essentially balls with a big set of teeth, could form a plant around the mouth.

Ha! If my greenstuff skills were up to par, I would definitely try that. May have to give it a test run anyways. That's awesome.

It's amazing what you can find when you google "Carnivorous plants." Even if I dont use the stuff for unit fillers, it can be used for some really cool terrain.

I believe the Catachan Heavy Weapons Squad has some carnivorous plant sin them, perhaps you could get those bits from someone/somewhere.

I'm imagining that plant with teeth as a mouth at the end of a long greenstuff vine. A couple of those would look awesome!
