Hi all, I've seen earlier threads discussing Kroxigor substitutes but I couldn't find mention of using Darklands Krokod - http://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=cat&cre=dkl-kth-kro There are some nice looking models on 60mm bases which seem close enough to the standard Kroxigor 50mm base. Does any one have experience of these? Would be interesting to know what their size is like compared to the GW models, quality of the models and if they fit nicely onto 50mm base or if any modifications required? I'm not a fan of the standard Kroxigor model and the only two alternatives that I like the look of are these Krokod and the Lost Kingdom kickstarter (however the later won't be released until next year).
I think I have already seen some of those painted and used as Kroxigor. Nice models. Although they are a tiiiny bit too crocodile-like for my taste.
Yeah I’ve seen those before, I think they look great (slightly bigger than bog standard kroxigor (bulkier as you can probably tell) Just need a few tweaks to make them more ‘seraphon-like’ (a few glyphs, moon hammer etc) But yeah- good models
Hadn't seen this before reading, love the look of some of those! Do you know if they'll be available after they've sorted out the kickstarter orders? As for Proxydors, those Krokod are pretty much spot-on for what I'd like! Weapons need a rework and £125 for six is a bit steep, but at least they'll look good afterwards.
That one is not exclusive! Check out the Kickstarter page, the exclusive ones have a green Kickstarter icon on their pictures. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1115856510/lost-kingdom-miniatures-cuetzpal-empire?lang=de
Aww, I miss out on the big bird and the baby axolotl things. Not models I'd play with but they're nice looking sculpts.
