I'm still new to Wahammer and Lizardmen but one good tactic I've heard about w/ JSoD is hinding him in a unit of Saurus warriors and have him jump out at the right time. I'm not sure how much of a diffrence it will make to have all the unit extras like, Champ, Stand, Muse. Can't wait to hear some of long time Lizardmen players wiegh in.
I feel that a champion is best if you are placing a character in the unit that way if there is a challenge then your champion can accept and your character can whomp the unit. Otherwise 12 points for 1 extra attack is a bit much.
Champions are more than an extra attack but that's another debate. As for the list, I like it,. I wonder if there is any way to get those Krox units upto 4 a piece? 4 work so much better than 3 in my experience, but that might just be the way I play them.
The only way I could do that would be to drop a Saurus unit (which would make my army faster on average). I am however afraid that my army would then just supporting the Kroxigor rather then working as a whole (if you give the enemy a key unit to aim at with a MSU army they have a huge advantage).
