Hello all

I'm both new here & after some Lizardman help, although not the sort you might expect.

I'm a Larper from the U.K that is planning on creating/playing a Lizardman character for an event in Germany this coming summer
(Drachenfest + Conquest of Mythodea).

The problem is I'm having something of a hard time locating any decent reference material though.
Kate Novak's Dragonbait novels, some Runequest Dragon newt's material + my old Everquest Iksar guild boards are about all i'm managed to rustle up. (Temple of the Servant was'nt exactly inspiring).
Is there much in the Warhammer Lizardman ref book?

I am looking for 'any' information on their history, religion, Tribal demographics et al that I can utilise & draw up a persona from.

I guessed this would be the place to ask, hope I haven't contravened any house rules with the post.

May your dice never fail you.

The most obvious source would be the Lizardmen army books, and a used copy from last edition (you don't need the rules after all, only the storyline) costs next to nothing. There is also a decent story from the perspective on an explorer called "The Burning Shore", which is centered on lizardmen. It doesn't go into culture and all, but does give a general feeling.
The main rulebook for Warhammer also has a good section on lizardmen, but it definitely is not worth the money for simply their story ($90...). If you can borrow a copy from somebody though, it's worth a quick read.

Thanks Grant, that's the kind of helpful info
that I was hoping for. I'll order a copy.

Ok, the book is ordered (I'm asuming the fiction inside it is the same throughout the editions).

Would anyone happen to know of any decent sites for Images of Lizardmen?
My Google Fu has picked up some, but not as many as I'd hoped for if I'm honest.

+ would anyone object If I linked my Kit ideas (pic) as I create them? Could use the feedback.

Thanks

N810 -Thank you.

There are some great tip's there. I'll grab a copy of Lustria & see what I can glean from there too.
