Hey there,

I'm Leeroy and I love miniatures painting and diy!

my hobby history began with some now unknown mech game my parents bought me when I was 16.
I bought the "Assault on Black Reach" WH 40k starter set and began painting Space Marines (my brotherpainted the Orks).
Then on some Grey Knights before I settled for Dark Angels.
Then long time nothing happened. I started working afte college and forgot about miniatures.
Halo Fleet battles and Dark Souls Miniature game enkindled my heart for miniatures again.

And since Total War Warhammer II I love Lizardmen.
Sadly the miniatures of the saurus (I love saurus and cold-ones) are not up to date.
So I bought some green stuff and installed blender and I hope I can accomplish something :)

I also plan to buy my first LM minis next month so stay tuned!

Grettings,
Leeroy

Welcome!
Looking forward to seeing your armies! :)

Welcome aboard, excuse my ignorance but what is blender?

Get a painting blog started to share your work ;)

Blender is a program for 3d designing and sculpting.
And it is free!
Although I admitbit isn't exactly intuitively usable. I worked a bit with it some time ago but never could do something complex with it. In 3DsMax it was easier but that software is damn expensive.

Welcome to the forums!

Let us know if you have any questions about modeling, fluff, painting or game play.

Sadly the miniatures of the saurus (I love saurus and cold-ones) are not up to date.
Now the solution is expensive cause you are essentially paying double, but one solution for the subpar looking Saurus Cold One Riders is to kitbash them with Dark Elf Cold Ones which look a lot more menacing.

That's my eventual plan, but in my case the original Saurus Cold Ones get to join my zombie army. I vowed not to buy more minis until I reduce my supply of unfinished models though.

Welcome.

Just don't go running into things without a plan.
