Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - February 2023 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. I will kick it off The reveal of the New Seraphon units has kicked me back to my pile of grey and semi-grey lizards. So this month some Lizards to paint: - finish painting a unit of 10 Skinks - start painting my 5 remaining Saurus Knights (I'd like to finish the Cold Ones) - Read and Vote on the Short Story Contest, and wright some sort of review - Have a game night with my brother, starting a new MESBG campaign - Create and paint some scenery stuff or models necessary for this new campaign Grrr, !mrahil
Uff... I really got myself tangled into Bolt action. But I will try to do at least something seraphon in February as well. -Paint third unit of warriors (postponed from January) -Assemble and putty 4 oldschool terradons -Assemble and paint at least one unit of grenadiers (12 models) -Paint remaining support germans for BA (5 models) -Paint at least 4 heroes for Project Descent -At least prime one of big dinos
A little behind (already) to where I wanted to be. Sisters that were unfinished last month have been added to this one. Also I was going to paint the Cuirassiers but I think it might be too much an ask with the rest of the stuff on the list. But main thing, some actual lizard-things! I have 15-20 stormcast to paint by Saturday, and I'm still churning through sprues. Ideally I'll have the stormcast done and plenty more after that.
My main objecitve this month is to be done with the models that give me a hard time so here I go: Do something with the skink priest just to have him painted to a table top standard Finish a kitbash im working on Touch up some terrain pieces Prime the skinks if the weather allows it Continue to work on Saurus ( I might stop putting this in these threads one since they're always being worked on) Have a game of underworlds

The month is halfway over, but I need to finish building and fully paint 10 hunters of huanchi, a starseer, and a celestant prime.

Late to posting this month, but Build and paint a "mini" diorama with the new Angron Sculpt (gift for a friend.)

About 35 tiny guys) I should be able to paint those warriors this month, but I really want to test out vallejo xpress colors first befpre I put them onto minus I care about.
So, stormcast were done and dusted in 2-3 days, and I've been on a bender of ogres and giants since. Lots up in my blog. Including the newest ordained warrior priest of Sigmaw, Krunk Sledgefist. Next up: a couple more stormcast, a couple more commission pieces.

Well... It was fairly successful month. I am pretty sure I can draw the line here, as both kiddo and better half are sick and I am designated nurse for next couple of days
Starblood Stalkers are all finished bar painting their bases. So close... Very enjoyable models to paint though.
