Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - June 2024

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

This month might be tricky, as I had no time to paint in last 10 days. This month I would like to:
Paint 5 chameleon skinks
Paint rest of prepared MESBG minis (5 scouts and 8 crosbows)
Glue and basecoat couple armoured units for FoW
Paint one infantry unit in FoW

My goal list for this month will be:

- Paint the 3 bronze units of the Necropolis faction of HoMM3 the Board game
- Paint 10 Uruk-hai warriors
- Paint Saruman

- Build some Scenery

- Vote on the Feathered Serpent contest

Beastmen Ungrol Fourhorns conversion
Beastmen Ungor with 2 hand weapons

Additional goal: paint 4 grenadiers for Bolt Action -glued

Stop staring mournfully at the hundred odd unpainted masses - Work in Progress
Finish painting my assembled Mantic Enforcers - 50% Done
Paint at least 10 TTRPG minis - 40% Done
Wait in eager anticipation for certain deliveries in the post - Work in Progress

Progress will be made when it's no longer a mournful stare but a melancholy stare instead.

My end of month update:

Stop staring mournfully at the hundred odd unpainted masses - Progress has been made... I have changed my staring to instead defiant glowering - I will beat this mass of unpainted grey... eventually.

Finish painting my assembled Mantic Enforcers - Done, with the exception of a single model which I have to wonder if I was drunk when I assembled it... not helped by it being one of Mantic's earlier sculpts. I have demoted it to sacrifice for testing colour schemes at a later date.

Paint at least 10 TTRPG minis - Done. They might not all be pretty, there were quite a few of my earliest ever assemblies and conversion attempts. But they are now coloured.

Wait in eager anticipation for certain deliveries in the post - Still ongoing as the one who has to post my package ISN'T EVEN IN THE COUNTRY AT THIS TIME! *devolves into irritable grumbling*

The 10 Uruk-hai warriors are finished. Also I am half way on tiling the Minas Tirith board, so I am building scenery:

Paint one infantry unit in FoW - unit of mortars done
Additional goal: paint 4 grenadiers for Bolt Action
Additional goal: finish last termagaunts
Bonus: Glued 32 german infantry for Bolt Action
