Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - October 2025

This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

once again i'm gonna cheat and my only goal will be "to do something" (moreso because this month all my weekends are already very busy with planned commitments)
 
This month's goals:

- Paint an Uruk-hai berseker
- Paint 9 Uruk-hai warriors (7 with shield and 2 Crossbow conversions)
- Paint the 2 hero models of the Rampart faction for HoMM3 the board game
- Paint a Kroxigor

- Write a short-story for the current contest.

And what more

This month (I know I know I’ve been missing) I’ll be working on my Mordheim Warband!!!

After a pause, I'm back. This month will be calm as I am still adjusting to glasses and there will also be almost week long family trip.

-finish 6 TC minis
-preshade and paint one unit of warp lizardmen models
-continue on Taunar
-finish something from office drawer where long forgotten minis dwell
 
First update of the month:

-finish 6 TC minis - all 6 heretic troopers from last month finished
-preshade and paint one unit of warp lizardmen models - salamander unit done
-continue on Taunar - started basecoating dark grey and purple
-finish something from office drawer where long forgotten minis dwell - Isengard demo team and berserkers finished

I found couple of heroes for MESBG as well as couple of wild wargs, that I would like to assemble, putty, base and prime this month.
