8th Ed. list i used during tournament last weekend

    list worked fine due the tactics i brought to my mind :)

    Slann priest;
    bsb general
    rumination
    mystery: death
    conscousness
    standard of discipline
    cupped hands
    bane head

    priest with cube

    scar vet
    cold one
    elm of command
    biting blade
    charmed shield
    light armour

    scar vet
    cold one
    burning blades
    opal amulet
    light armour shield

    scar vet
    cold one
    greatwpeaon
    venom of firefly frog
    dragon helet
    light armour

    4x10 skirmishers with blow pipes
    4x10 skirmishers with javalin
    3x6 chamelions
    2x2 salamander two extra snacks
    3 terra dons:)

    So, how did the list do? What were your tactics?

    baiscly go char hunting with slann, thin out all units with shooting, than finish of untis with the scar vets combined in one unit, since the amount of units of skinks, redireciting enemies to where ever i wanted, shooting some more, lowering ld, lowering thoughness etc, u can do the maths :) ended up 6th out of 140 contenders :)

    Awesome. Very few hero choices are as good as a scar vet in combat.

    Sounds like a killer list. How did you like the Scar Vet unit? I am thinking about using one this weekend for a tournament.

    the scar vet unit is awesome! they are so resillient except killing blow :( but they hold up like nearly any unit!

    What about cannons? Did you not face Dwarfs, Empire or Ogres? 2 cannons can chew through mounted Scar Vets pretty quickly (even with Charmed Shield).

    not hard to keep them out of line of sight of cannons tbh :) its just three guys on a horse ;) cannons are usually down max turn 2 =)

    its really character focused, but since i dont have combat units, i can target chars as long as i want :) its a thinking game caus u have to gain more points from his chars, than you lose :)
