    Skink priest 65 pts
    -Level 2 35 pts
    -Cloak of Feathers 25 pts
    -Dispel scroll 25 pts
    =150 pts

    Core units = 306 pts

    10xSkinks 5 pts/model
    =50 pts

    10xSkink skirmishers 7 pts/model
    =70 pts

    15xSaurus warriors 11 pts/model
    -Spears 1 pts/model
    -Musician 6 pts
    =186 pts

    Special units = 325 pts

    3xTerradon riders 30 pts/model
    =90 pst

    Total = 1000

    I'm not sure if I should cut down the musician from my saurus unit to get a GW instead of 2 hand weapons for my scar-veteran, any suggestions about any part of my list are welcome.

    Rather than Hide of the Cold One for your Scar Veteran I would just get a Cold One Mount. It costs less points, allows greater move distance, still provides +2 to armour save and causes fear. That would also allow you to get that great weapon you were looking at without sacrificing the Musician.
