I was in tournament held last weekend, I got 3 wins (11-9 vs daemons, 13-7 vs ogres and 13-7 vs goblins)
and 2 big lossess (0-20 vs WoCs and rats. Basically both losses cause my opponents passed insane courage tests on right place. :rage: ) My standing was low, because those 2 massacre losses, IIRC 26/31, but I was pleased with all my games, cause those 2 losses were because of lucky dice rolls by my opponent
    But that's warhammer

    Anyway my list was:

Couple ideas how to improve my list:

1.During games, I found life wasnt the best lore for my list. I think Light is far better in block armies than life.

2.Terradons didnt do anything. I think skirmishers/ sallie would be better choise.

    3. Banner of Ethernal Flame for Slann/TG. I didnt have need for that, but I think it's totally worth now cause dragon princes only have 2+ ward vs flaming attacks.

    4. Saurus Warriors are GREAT! I think I need 3th unit of them, but atm I'll have to stick with 2nd stega, I dont have enough figures

    Comments and Ideas are wellcome!

    - How did you use your terradons? They are great for taking out archers/lone characters, while chameleons are better at attacking warmachines. I'd keep the terradons as they are very good when used properly.

    - I'm a big fan of lore of Life, but it's pretty conservative. Lore of Light will indeed allow you to play more aggressively.

    - I would take some salamanders. 2 of them with extra handlers allow you to weaken the ennemy. With the firepower of 2 salamanders, 20 skirmishers, 15 chameleon skinks and 1 ancient stegadon, you are looking at some serious long range/mid range/close range firepower to support the 3 main infantry blocks.

    - How did the baby steg work for you? I'd replace him with salamanders, I don't like his bolt thrower much.

    - I don't understand what you are saying about the banner of the eternal flame. A 2+ WS vs fire attacks is insanely good and will allow a unit of DP to tie up your Slann's unit until they get flanked, which is really bad. IMO, it's the kind of item that's more suited to a tailored list then a tournament list.

    - Bumping those Saurus Warriors blocks to 30 would be a very good idea, especially if you plan on using Lore of Light.

I hope this helps a little.

    Thanks for comments!

I know, terradons are still a great unit IMHO, maybe my armies I faced werent the most optimal for them. Couple of times my enemy made some lucki charges (14+", trolololol with blocks, and they got killed)

About life: It's a very good lore, but because of Life I think I played way too carefully in couple of games, hence not getting "big win". and in Finland, most tournaments have rules that give Look out Sir!-roll against spells such as dwellers, final transmutation, 13th, etc.

Well, before FAQ they had immunity against flaming attacks. And I dont think DPs gonna pin my unit down, I've metahammered that most high elf list only have unit of 5-7. And it's bad vs 1 army, while it is good vs armies with rege (skaven, VC and DEs, more common armies that what HEs are)

But atm, I have to stick with 2 stegas, since I dont have enough saurus warriors. So, 1 saurus unit away, baby stega and unit of chameleons in. Then I think I have enouhg points to bump SWs unit size up
