I guess the title says it all. Just wondering what you all think on taking allies and if you do who best suits Lizardmen on the table? Thanks for any input all!!

Allies in wfb? Surely such a travesty will never occur.

I think high elves synergise well with our weaknesses, but seriously what version of the game are you playing which allows allies in it?

Wouldnt a shooty army be awesome? Let the enemies come to us then. We have awesome redirectors, flankers, and splendid magic. I'd say that dwarves may be best, because they dont require magic at all.

It all depends on what army or armies your friend collects doesn't it, unless you have a friend with several armies.

Dwarves would be perfect. Their strengths cover our weaknesses, and we can focus on offensive magic and they can handle dispel. War machines, stubborn and tough units, I like the idea.

I'm about to take part in a siege scenario in the defensive role with an empire & dwarf gunline to back me up vs dark elves, Vamps & skaven, can't wait

You know that tough as nails Cauldron the DE have? I hear a blade of realities Old Blood on Cold one will make it die quick and easy. Or another build with forcing reroll on ward saves, too, but I'm dying to get the blade of realities to be worth it's points.

My friend and I won a tournament two years ago that way despite being among the least experienced players there. It is glorious, I assure you.

I'm hoping the store will run another team tourney so "Team Short and Scaly" can march to victory yet again.

Bretonnian general would be a good ally as well

    Trebuchet?
    Lance?
    (Flying) HKB lord?
    Pegasus knights?

    I'll take that anytime
