Hey guys, I'm thinking of a different style of play for the new storm of magic game so let me know what you think. Slann Lore of Life, Focused Rumination, Higher state of consciousness, Becalming Cogitation, Unfathonable Presence Skink Priest EotG, Lvl 2 36 Saurus Warriors FC, Spears 36 Saursu Warriors FC, Spears 10 SKink Skirmishers 10 Skink Skirmishers 5 Chameleons 5 Chameleons Zoat Lvl 4 Living Deadwood Staff So the Slann and the priest take the two fulcrums, and the zoat sits in the middle. The two huge units of saurus sit in front of the fulcrums and the skirmishers at the flanks. Tactics; The slann and the zoat will be summoning two forests every turn, which thanks to the staff are buffed blood forests, and thanks to the zoat are dangerous terrain to the enemy and they fail on a 1 or a 2. The two units of saurus will be the killing units for anything that makes it through the forest and can be healed by either of the Wizards. The skink priest will be knocking wizards of opposing fulcrums and using the engine and the skinks can harrass the enemy's flanks. Chameleons to take out a seige engine or a wizard let me know what you think.
Looking strong, Have you considered Light on the Slann instead? The army seems tailored for it. One thing I would include are some Arcane items. Cupped Hands and a Dispel Scroll, maybe skipping one of the regular skirmisher units for it. I would always favor hw/shield over spears on saurus, but I assume you have your models with spears so that is the way it is.
