    meiby some one can help me? i have no idea how to fight againts bretonnians...
    im thinking about to take one skink priest with ancient steg, few skinks and then alot of saurus to stand and take derect charge of bretonians, and then blast them with magic and with my sauruses kick theyr a..es.
    what would you suggest?

    salamanders, uranon's thunderbolt and burning alignment are all deadly to bretonians. saurus can also take 8 S5 attacks but barely. weaken his lances and then take the charge, you should win.

    I played against my brother's bretts twice a few weeks back and won both times. I had:

    1 unit of skink skirmishers
    1 unit of 20 Saurus with spears
    1 unit of 3 krox

    2 scar-vets geared up and mounted on cold ones
    and 1 skink priest with cloak of feathers

    Both times I scored a massacre, I used Krox and the Scar Vets as flankers. Plan worked amazingly well. But yes they are very weak to thunderbolts

    how about 2x salamanders 2xrazordon skink priest with ancient stegadon 15 saurus with scar vet with shield and armor?
    i put stegadon with razordon together in the corner so if they charge my razordon shoot 2 artilery dice shot each. i put sauruses behind them in case they kill steg and razordons.
    with salamanders go alitle bit further and shoot flames at them.
    how about it?

    Razordons don't seem to do very well against heavy armor. I once had a group of three of them fire off thirty-eight shots (most dice I've ever rolled at a time) against ten charging Chaos knights, kill one, and be destroyed. They annihilate soft targets quite well, but here I think your points might be better served elsewhere; perhaps terradons to march block, if you have the models.

    you wound chaos knights on 4's and don't modify their armor save [1+->2+]. you would wound prettonians on 3's and they still get a 3+ armor save.
    also, you can field both salamanders and razordons in 1k pts. if your talking 2k then you can get a slann with the lore of metal and then you start raping his army with spirit of the forge and rule of burning iron.

    i think i finished my list for this battle, this is what it will encloude:
    one skink priest with ancient stegadon and some items
    one scar veteran on cold one with wep +1 A and shield +1A and light armor
    10 skink skirmishers
    18 saurus wariors
    and 2 salamanders.

    what i will do i guess going to shoot with salamanders as much as i can.
    i will try to tank with stegadon or sauruses and use burning aligment so no armor saves for those strikes. scar-vet for flanking and steg or saurus for flanking.
    hope going to win :)

    Good luck, rember those brets move fast so they are going to be on you very quickly, I'd suggest puttomg your skink in the eotg so he can get lose of metal.

    yeah, about the scar vet. dont!. use the burning blade of chotec so he only gets a 6+ armor save on his knights. the shield can be either the maming shield (1 attack with only a -2 save modifier) or enchanted shield (combined with a cold one ofcourse) so you get to 0+ save. except grail knights, no bretonnian [non hero] can get your armor save under 2+

    well i fought this wensday with bretonnians... what can i say... dice god has abbandoned me on that game....
    i had 2 salamanders and in 2 turns i shot 4 atacks... only one three times i rolled 2 and flames didint reached the target. the fourth time i was lucky only one of his knights were partely hit so i roled if hes hit and guess what? i rolled 1.... i got my steg charged and it was dead in one turn..... scar vet tryed to hitt about 8-12 times managed to hit only 2-3, he saved 2 with armor save and the other with ward save....
    dice gods why do you hate me??
