basically i have been playing against chaos , and have yet to lose. my freind (playing chaos)has not made it to close combat. everytime he charges me, i blowpipe him to death. my eotg doesnt let me get close when im using burning alignment. i have decided that i dont really need any melee units... problem is, i beat him so bad that he decided to start using empire. so now i have to rethink my list alittle.. basically all i have used was skinks, and stegadons. i just poison everyone. now im wondering, what do i add? should i use cold ones? i have like 8, just havent built them yet. so is that a good idea? help me please?

I haven't had much luck with empire because the guy I play against plays with a lot of guns and artillery and lizardmen cannot out range them. However, I usually run a combat and magic heavy army.

I think that running the cavalry up the flank would be a good tactic. Also I really enjoy salamanders because if they cause a wound the unit must take a panic test. Maybe send them up the other flank.

With empire you usually have to be the aggressor because they can stand back and shoot the crap out of you just like you did with your skinks.

Again, I don't have a good record with empire so these are just my thoughts and are untested.

    Good luck!

well i started a game with empire today. i think using magic works, and now i have my eotg pretty close to the bulk of his army, so its gonna do some damage on his troops. slann is doing some serious damage on their mages, so soon im gonna destroy his artillery with magic
