8th Ed. LM Tricks and Hard Combo's

    I am preparing for a no comp tournament at 2500pts and have been considering what tricks and power play setups/moves lizardmen have access. I know my opponents will be dropping all stops, what can LM do?

    Please discuss your thoughts?

    There are many threads on Lustria that can help you out. I know it can be daunting at first to look through everything, but in my experience with forums I have found that if you formulate a list of things you want to accomplish, then you can narrow your search down.

    I think some good units to look into regardless of your list type would be Skrox (skinks with krox), Stegadons, Salamanders, Slann, Saurus, Terradons, Chameleon Skins and Scar Veterans. There are more, but I think these are some of the main units that can set up some nasty combos. Try searching the individual units and reading through the posts, thats how I learned and I feel like I have played more games than I actually have just by reading other people's experiences.

    For tricks rather than good solid play I would look at:

    Tooling up OBs and SVs
    Taking cube of darkness as well/instead of scroll and possibly diadem
    Blood statuette of spite
    Don't take slann just 2 or 3 priests

    Standard good things are:
    Slann with cupped hands, extra dice, ignore 6s and loremaster
    Maxing sallies
