    Hi,

I'm a long-time player, having been an avid collecter and part-time player for almost 17 years- actually, my first WHFB "purchase" (a gift from my parents) was a WHFB 5th ed box set (of which I traded the Lizzies away for more brets ).

Recently a few friends of mine finally decided to get back into WHFB which has prompted me to put my 40k army asside and take a close look at the WHFB range and settle on Lizardmen as my new army of choice. I like the models (most of 'em anyway) and therefore opted for the cold-blooded ones as my new army of choice.

I've lurked around here a bit trying to get a beter idea of how the scaly-ones play and will soon try to get my hands on a first batalion - considering the price, this sounds like a very good first purchase... I'm in the process of liquidating a truck-load of unused/unopened boxes (a mix of Space Marines, Space Wolves, Warriors of Chaos and assorted mess) which will be used to either trade for Lizzies or sell so I can purchase some more plastic-crack... :D

I hope I'll find as friendly a community here as I've found elsewhere (having somewhat lost interest in 30k/40k, I haven't visited BNC in a while...) and hope I'll be able to be a welcome contributor to the forum!

Welcome, the Tactics forum will help you get your gaming purchases set. The Tactica index is a good resource. IN a few weeks we'll have a special handbook which should summarize our Tacticas pretty well.

The painting forum is a great place to go for inspiration or tips.

The fluff subforum is full of good stories and comics, especially Spawning of Bob.
