Help Looking for color schemes

Hi everyone!

I wanna go back the the hobbie but I'm struggling with color paterns. I have a unit of 16 Saurus painted ad Tzunki's spawn, but I'd like to change and not stick to one God army.

I'd put a base of Ice Blue and then a dry layer of Enchanted Blue for the skin, but I don't know what colors would fit with this base.

For beast, like Carno or Stegadon, I don't know what colors should I pick, since I want to have a white skin a purple scales for Carnosaurus and a red/brown mix with Stegadon/Bastilodon.

Any ideas?

Ok then I probably won't be of much help here since I rarely use any of those.
But don't worry! There are plenty of guys around here who do so I am sure one of them will be able to help you.

Do you have pics that you could post? Sounds like you are working in reverse order from what I usually do, moving from light blue to dark(er) blue.

Someone should really make a conversion chart for all common paint brands... someone with lots of spare time...

Actually there are such charts around, they just need some updating.

There have been a few... But GW keeps changing the paint names. :/

No I don't have any current color scheme, since the ones I have are from 2005 or so XDDD

As I said, for Carno, I'd like a similar pattern as it's seen in the 8th Edition Codex: pale skin and purple scales.
For Bastiolodon I'd like a Orange/Black combination. For Stegadon I will make the same pattern I did on my Tyrannids around 2012.

For units, as I said, I'd like to put a light blue on their skin, some combination of Ice Blue and Turqoise and for their scales, a dark blue, as Enchanted blue or Maccrage Blue (just to name some colors, they don't need to be the ones I will use).

In some cases, I'd like to vary some scale colors on units, for example, red for Sotek or dark green for Tzunki.

Easiest thing to do is download the GW
paint app and lookup the colours you would like to use.
