8th Ed. Lore of light 2k

    Hi guys im pretty new here and i wanted some critque for my list.

    Slann
    lore of light
    cupped hands
    extra pd
    remove 6s to cast
    loremaster
    bsb
    -1 to hit

    heroes

    cheap scar veteran( some help on gear would be nice)

    eog priest lvl 1

    core

    20 spear saurus fullcommand times 2

    10 skink skirmishers times 2

    special

    16 temple guard

    5 chameleon skinks times 2

    general tactica for this is to put temple guard in the centre with the slann and scar vet inside. The saurus go on either side. and the eog goes very close to the flank of a saurus unit so all three blocks get ward. skinks go on each flank. The idea is to march up the field 300 style and then boost speed of light and get normal bironas( maybe even boosted)

    The list can take monsters(skinks)
    It halfs warmachine effective ness (light spell)
    Puts missile fire to shame.
    awesome magic phase
    makes warriors of chaos fill their pants when they see ninja saurus
    However it does struggle with uber characters of death problem is i dont know how lizards actually beat them.

    Put at least 6 chameleons in each unit. As far as the scar-vet goes, give him the ASF weapon. That way, if you get speed of light, he will be rerolling missed hits. Also, take some descent armor on him. Get it down to 2+ or even 1+. I would like to see some salamanders, but you may have trouble finding the room as the list is pretty tight as it is.

    With that in mind, 20 TG would be better protection for the slann.
