    Hi There,
I,m sick of playing lore of life slann and have heard good things about Lore of shadows slann. Playing new armies book Empire tomorrow [walls of halbreds and flaggelants, cannon big knight unit a load of hate-filled priests and those funky yet also quite gay new arcane chariots} Just wondering if anyone has any exp with shadows slann.
    All advice welcome
    Thanks.

I would say take two Salamander teams and rely on Witheirng a lot. Withering before a Salamander basting lets you wound on 2s instead of 4s.

Since Empire has 3s in almost everything you can really take any unit down to a very weak fighting level by by hexing T, S, or WS and Shadow lets you hex all of those.

Okkams Mind Razor will let your Saurus units chop down armored knights quite easily and also reliably wound the Steam Tank (but is generally overkill against the Empire's infantry).

The Steam Tank and various artillery will automatically fail their Intiative tests and die if touched by the Pit of Shades template. It's damage potential is also decent against regular soldiers but with the kind of tonnage of damage the Pit inflicts you should probably save the Pit for elites.

The handsomest forumite here wrote a Shadow Tactica that's in the stickied index and right here:
