Just a thought/Build for a Slann I might run this coming weekend in a friendly game using the Lore of Undeath and my reasoning behind it. Slann Higher State, Harmonic Convergence, Channeling Staff, other Tricketers Shard, Sword of Striking, Obsidian Amulet So he has to run alone which is fairly dangerous but I figure I can set him near some infantry to get a minor LoS roll and combined with his ward and MR he should be as safe as can be. Hoping to get ahold of the Hand of Dust spell and allow people to think he is weak, get into combat with something since people will assume he won't charge them, get the spell off and with a +1 to hit from the sword he should be able to hit on 3+ or 4+. Also as always the channeling staff and harmonic allows him to usually out cast the opponent. He will be supported by a lvl 1 beast priest on EoTG and a lvl 2 beast priest. So in the event that they get one of the character boosting spells they could also use that on him in a pinch and the engine can boost Lore of Undeath with the +1 to cast. I have been converting some older models to be have either 30 skink skeletons/zombies, about 12 saurus grave guard and 4 bases of skink spirit hosts. I will also find something to convert to hex wraiths or at least proxy some for now. I will still be limited because I don't own much in the way of undead models but I have a decent start and it's just for fun anyway. I will also be converting something to a casket of souls because Slann still need more casting dice!
Good idea. I had originally had it on one of 2 scar vets but since he will be unstable the extra could allow him to go into a slightly larger unit and not worry about 1 rank giving him wounds.
