8th Ed. Losing Remains in Play Spells, is the last casting still up?

Here's a question that is a big stumper.

If a Slann swaps out Fiery Convocation with Contemplations, does the spell remain in play or is it gone when the Slann forgets it.

If you have a two Slann army can you use Telepathic Confabulation to have Slann A cast say Throne of Vines in turn one, give Throne of Vines to Slann B in turn two, then have Slann B cast the spell. Would both have Throne of Vines up or is Throne of Vines lost for Slann A as soon as he no longer knows the spell.

What if you a RIP spell up but then your Slann forgets the spell due to a miscast, Glean Magic, or Greedy Fist? Is the running spell still up?

When you miscast a RIP spell and forget the spell, does it no longer have any effect? Everyone I know plays as it still does, so I would use the same policy to apply to this situation.

Edit: I mean miscast and roll the 10-12 that would make you lose levels and spells.

I would assume it keeps on going. Isn't there something mentioned in the BRB about the fact that the spell "runs itself with no further attention required" or something like that?

By the same logic I'd argue a RIP spell continues even if the wizard is killed.

The rulebook lists the conditions under which a RiP stops.

A rip spell ends if the unit dies, the caster dies/leaves the battlefield or if the spell is dispelled in subsequent turns, using dispel or power dice.
