Hi, I am going to be playing a few small 600 points games in the next coming weeks and need some advice on which style of list would be best. Here are the lists: List 1 Scar-Vet, CO, Sword of Swift Slaying, Enchanted shield 10xSkink Skirmishers, Javs 15xSaurus Warriors, HW&S, Standard, Musician Bastiladon, Solar Engine 5xChameleon Skinks List 2 Skink Priest, Beasts 10xSkink Skirmishers 15xSaurus Warriors, HW&S, Musician, Standard Bastiladon, Solar Engine 2x5 Chaneleons. I'm unsure whether going more magic or more combat is better and I'm not sure if that scar-vet build is the best for this points level? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
The scar-vet will net about 400times his points at this level. There's no reason not to give him a GW, lets you get through those pesky +1. magic points should either be armour of destiny, or LA, dawnstone dragonhelm and an OTS if you know your against demons/WoC or somebody else that is ward heavy. Overall I think the unit of skirmishers would be stronger as just more saurus. But it will be much less fun to play and play against. Unless winning is everything..... Thanks for the advice, I was slightly more leaning towards the first list anyway. I'm mostly going to be playing either Dwarfs or VC so I'll have a look at the AoD build and probably add the extra Saurus. It's the first round of an Escalation League so I think it should be a good laugh to run.
