8th Ed. Many questions

1. Slann in 2nd row, can he be challenged?
2. Cameleon deployment in the woods, no minimum distance?
3. Linear obsticles like fences, can a unit straddle this obsticle if it doesn't have the movement to cross completely over it?

1. Yes. Unfortunately, you can be challenged.
2. Minimum distance is 12 inches from enemy units. With or without terrain. Page 79 in the big rule book.
3. Yes. You would not benefit from the obstacles effect though.

2) not sure...
3) I would think that you would have to be on une side or the other with a model...
but I guess a unit could be on both sides...
