AoS Map League list 2k fangs

I played seraphon during the start of AOS at small points briefly, I'm basically relearning them again with 2.0 and I wanted to dust them off and play them for a up coming map league at my LGS. I'll be coming up with a 500,1000,1500 and 2k list for the league, as points are player discretion before each battle. I'd like some feedback on my 2k list

I think a Gryphhound is 40 points....?....wait when did that become minimum of 6 for 140?

I would consider dropping on Bastiladon to make room for beefing up another unit of Warriors and possible for some Razordons.

Provided you don't change your list and are still looking for a way to spend 40 points then I suggest the Balewind Vortex.

I also recommend looking into the Artifacts of the Realms, found in Malign Sorcery. Some of the artifacts are strictly better. For instance, two artifacts make the rend of a weapon 3+ instead of +1. Also, Ghyrstrike(+1 to Hit and Wond rolls for the selected weapon) on a Sunblood is pretty solid. It turns 5/6's into exploding hits and wounds instead of just 6's.

I love Fangs of Sotek. Seeking ranks of Saurus Warriors always inspires my inner lizard. Best of luck in your event.

love it! I run a very similar list and i've had a lot of success.

I'd suggest dropping the second basti for either an astrolith or a stegadon. I've noticed the extra summoning help seems to go a lot farther than the extra damage, but to each their own of course! It also helps free a bit of room for a unit (or 2) of skinks to help prevent a nasty alpha strike.

I've also found the artifacts in Ulgu are amazing. Especially doppleganger's cloak on the old blood. Blade of the Thirteen dominions on the Sunblood also makes any unit he hits -1 to hit, which can go a long way to helping those saurus blocks survive in combat.

Use that extra 40 pts for a Balewind Vortex. Will get you an extra 3 summoning points in each round after you cast it.
