    slann1.jpg

I remembered seeing the army that this slann belongs to in an friends WD when we where kids and I remember it being awesome.

It's one of the best lizardmen armies I'ver ever seen and I would love to see it again.

    Cheers!

Haven't seen that one before, It apears to be a heavily modded 5th edition slann.

Yes the army was 5ed, so it's quite old.

i remember that army too. the sauruses had blue weapons, and i use the same blue for the spikes on my TG weapons :D It was a really awesome army, heavily converted chaos-lizardmen. however, i have no idea what WD it may be in. way too lazy too look through them all

Yes, but I don't have access to the white dwarf. Maybe I should email GW and see if they remember the number of the issue.

I remember this one. I'm thinking probably around 2002 - 2004 timeframe. i actually have the white dwarf and I'll look through it to get you some info when I get the chance. This guy used the whole "skaven spreading disease" theme on his entire LM army. Every single model in this army was converted in some way. His Kroxigors had 3 - 4 arms because of mutations, and the Saurus had unusually long necks and growths on their backs... all sculpted by the army owner. IMO, one of the best converted / painted armies I've ever seen. I'll see if I can get the info for you, definitely an article for inspiration. Wow, it's been a long time since i've seen this model.

I found it. Well kind of. I sat today and looked through my old WD and in no. 290 I found a picture of part of the army. The guy who made its name is Jeppe Danning and was originally featured in WD 265.
