So I recently found this pdf, containing an armylist, for lizardmen in Mordheim, was just wondering if someone actually has played it, and how they stood up?

They are pretty strong, I guess, they lead to some unusual combos, like a skink that wields a blunderbuss. The inherent armor is OK, most people wear no armor because it sucks in Mordheim, but with lizardmen it's quite useful, especially when it procs in a random treasure.

Taking the kroxigor at level one is kind of a hilarious strategy, it mostly just messes up other people's guys, so use it to take down anyone that is particularly strong (I.E. the enemy leader). Your main advantage is that skinks are so fast and high init that they can really get places, and hence, can jack loot really well.

The priest spells can be pretty good too, but I'd ask if you can roll for your spell before building a list. Adding the wrath of Huanchi or whatever it is that adds frenzy makes kroxigor or a totem warrior amazing.

I played Mordheim Lizzies for a while, was hilarious against my mates combat dwarf warband, my skinks walked as fast as his dwarves ran!

Thinking back on it a lot of my strategies were the same as my Warhammer Lizardmen armies, outmanouver/ weaken the enemy line with skinks and draw the enemy into a counter attack with the saurus/ Kroxigor

Ran my first game yesterday, and it was a huge hit. We ran a 4 player treasurehunt, on a huuuge map(bit too big tbh). It was very cool. the teams were, my lizzies (Go team!), Reiklander, Sisters of Sigmar and skaven. Me and skaven player got matched up on the map first, after i managed to snag three warpstone shards. I got vastly outnumbered and 2 of my saurus was charged by 6! skaven. one dude with a flail, one dude with spear and shield and one dude with sword and dagger. there were 2 groups that looked like this.

Now the miracle happened, All of his 8 attacks on my saurus misses or doesnt wound (odds were not at all in my favour). And now it's my turn, my saurus dual wield clubs, so they get 3 attacks. and knocks every last rat out!. ( i was so bummed they didnt get the upgrade to hero status when i rolled, they frigging Earned it!). Long story short, me and the sisters player agreed to share the victory and I got all in all 8 shards. fuck yea lizardmen ROCKS! <3

I can do you for one better than that!

Here is the Link for the Issue of Town Cryer it first appeared in: http://www.tabletopgeeks.com/downloads/ (It is in Issue 11)

So in actual fact it is really kind of official as it was first released in a Town Cryer, Game Workshops official Mordheim Magazine.

I have played with the Warband in Mordheim once or twice and found they were pretty good and what made me lose both games wasn't the Warband, but, rather my lack of experience playing Mordheim.

    Hope this helps, Bez
