Those look great! I love the color of the Cold Ones.

I don't own any metallic paints, so everyhting is NMM :D

Also, my training is as a watercolor artist/portrait painter, etc., and there are no such things as mettallics there, either.

I did a series of 'Legend of Arthur", and that wa s areal into in painting armor with reflections and such.

At some point, I will post my Kroxigors, who also have a few different types of Nmm on them :meh:

I really like the semi cross-hatched highlights on the cold ones, that looks like a very effective way to highlight flat surfaces and I will be stealing it! Please show us more of you're fantastic painting :D

Very well done, what a great scheme to match the rider and beast. Very well done indeed

The contrasting colors of the saurus and the cold one makes the riders seem really fierce and predatory, while making the cold one seem ice cold killer beasts!
Sweet!

question : How do you make such a nice base?
Your models are absalutely stunning!

Thanks for all the kind words! :P

The bases were done using a layer of cork, with a layer of baked sculpey on top of that.

Once the sculpey has been baked, it can be carved to create the stone texture, or whatever glyphs you might want.

For added effect, I used some green stuff to make the vines.
