was just thinking of armies i'd just love to face and started going to extremes like a skaven slave army or stuff of that nature was wondering if anyone had ever actually seen some really terrible armies that were just plain bad

The all knoblar OK army is not particularly effective..

Remember, skaven slaves may be crap but they are very very cheap so you can take a LOT.

Remember skaven get their leadership bonus for being in high numbers... The gnoblars would run first, though in both cases you would carve so many that both are probably just as likely to flee.

A 100% slave army is not possible, you must have an equal amount of clan rats.

I proxied up a bretonian army with tons of damsels, the fey enchantress, max trebuchets, and scads of bowmen, including a 60 man skirmish unit. It got reamed by VC in an awful fashion.

I tried a Vampire zombie army and it actually seemed viable! I took 3 vamps with the +2 power dice ability and some bound items. Took a magic heavy lord with skeleton mastery. All the level 1 guys just took max ZOMBIES and would spam it on one dice, the lord spammed more skeletons to power up his units, I progenated like 100+ zombies that game, it was just nuts. My mistake was taking bats and spirit hosts. I think the main advantage of that army is that it's so hard to get any points back from it, 40 man units of zombies are hard to kill if you just keep dumping more guys into them.

I never knock a strategy till I've seen it, and I think there are a lot of seemingly retarded lists that are actually quite viable if played right.

100% elf list, I've played it with wood elves ofc, it's quite effective(at range and if you get the charge)
I mean only glade guards and not wardancers etc, no forest spirits.
only glade guards and waywatchers. :smug:

I went up against an all Night Goblin army once at 2500pts My army consisted of 4 Stegadons (EotG, Warspear, Steg, & Ancient Steg), 3 Skink/Crox units and a Slann among some other stuff. We ended up calling it the "Lizardmen Army of Terror" when the game was over three rounds later. There was only a couple of combats and those completely crushed the NG units attacked. When it was all said and done, EVERYTHING ran away from my Lizardmen army. We both got a good laugh.

Did you forget to bring your Salamanders? Just to complete the annihilation.

Did the night goblins forget their fanatics? They would have inflicted hell on the LM army.. Probably not enough to win though, depending on how many there were.

Yeah, they had a couple of fanatics, they even did a little damage (He got to release 2 of them, I think he had about 6-8 total). But once one unit broke to run, everything started following. And no, I didnt have any sallies (Have three of them I'm looking at right now that I still have to put together and paint).
