Any strong feelings toward movement trays for those 40 blocks of skinks? of course before a charge or pile in jumping off the tray, but how do folks like them for speeding up deployment and initial moving?

Im coming from other games that would have 40-60 models total in the whole army so physically moving that many dudes is like 20% a daunting task?

no one ever runs out of time at events moving "horde" armies?

I use movement trays. Just makes getting stuff on the board that much easier. Also can be helpful with first turn teleports.

With that said, i haven't found time to be a huge issue in any aos games i've played.

I use them for screens so I dont have to measure 1” between each Skink. I dont find it an issue moving big blobs of Skinks - Just measure the front left and place it, then measure front right and place it. Fill in the space between with the front line and gently push/move the remaining models up behind.

I use movement trays for both my Skinks and my Skeletons.
I made very simple ones out of cardboard. Not pretty but they do their job.
