Hey guys, I have decided to go with the Lizardmen after getting into 40k. (they catch my eye the most). in 40k I am an Imperial Guard player and i want to move on to Fantasy. I guess my main question is what makes the Lizardmen different from all of the other armies. I'm still not aware of the rules yet with fantasy but hey I set my mind on this army why not start early. I wanted to know how the Lizarmen fight in battle as well. Do they have good armor saves? are they powerful against most basic infantry? Ill read around a bit and check out some paint schemes. I'm glad i found a forum dedicated to only Lizardmen. im looking forward to joining.

G'day, welcome to Lustria Online and the LM in general!

There are actually several ways to field a LM army that are all legitimate. In general, I would say LM are a bit slow, quite tough, and good in combat. But then if you field a skink horde, you will have the opposite. LM are also very good at magic, and almost everything in the army is worth taking, the two weakest choices are swarms and cold one cavalry.

    Saurus are above average infantry.

Thank you. Okay sounds like they are hardy, i did gather that the skinks were cannon fodder unless they had blowguns. Where i live the shoppe has a box of the basic infantry i was going to start there and when i get more money i was going to buy the big starter kit. i am planning on having my paint scheme to be mainly blue with some orange.
