    Can a magic resistance of the slann hold a spell with Irresistible force?

    On page 109 of the Big Red book it states that a spell cast with irresistible force cannot be dispelled and dispel scroll cannot be used to stop it.

    There. Fixed that.

    You mean dispel scroll can't be used to stop it, right?

    MR just gives extra free dispel dice, and since you can't make a dispel roll anyway against IF then they do nothing.
