    Hmm, a few things
    -Lord choices can only make up max 25% of your total points. Slann is 520 (ie more than 25% of 2000) so need to drop something (my suggestion is Transcendent Healing AND Higher State, you don't need it as you'll be required to join the Temple Guard unit)
    -Spears on Saurus: little point in taking these, esp on such a small unit. As you need at least 3 ranks before it takes affect you only need to lose 2 Saurus before the spears start to become useless.
    -Javelin and shield skinks: why bother? Blowpipes are pretty damn handy and cheaper

    With the points you've saved from some of this I recommend making the Temple Guard unit larger: 10 isn't going to keep your Slann safe for long

    Yep, what he said.
    Also if those Salamander are on their own ie two single sallies.
    You should pay the 5 points a piece for an extra handler. Well worth it so you can't lose them all to one misfire.

    Sound advice I may knock my TG up to 14 and limit the disciplines on the Slann to a single useful 1, should free up points to expand Saurus to 20, possibly utilize a Skink priest and like you suggested boost my salamander crew, they'll be used as support for Skirmishers also are ancient stegadons worth their salt? Would they make a good investment as my army expands or would I benefit from more blocks of infantry with this army? Thank you for taking the time to help me I must be some annoyance to you guys haha
