My Army building escapades [Picture Heavy]

Hey I just wanted to start a topic showing the construction of my 3,000pt army list.

The list contains one Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (general), one Skink Priest on Stegadon, one Skink Priest on foot, two twenty block regiments of Saurus Warriors, three units of ten Skink Skirmishers, one Stegadon, one unit of ten Saurus Cavalry, six Terradon and three Razordon.

In total, the army should cost me about £300 or $450 if you will.

Colour Scheme idea:

Im thinking a medium shade of green for the Saurus which goes into a sort of creamy lemony yellow on their chests using a wet blending technique. a darker shade of green will be used for their scales.

As for Skinks, im thinking a lighter green or possibly even making them jade coloured with creamy yellow crests.

Im not sure what colour the Stegadons, Cold Ones, and Terradons should be just yet but i have an idea for the razordons, to do them to look like the animal 'Thorny Devil' if possible: http://photography.nationalgeograph...raphy/Images/POD/t/thorny-devil-525047-sw.jpg

The Champion:





The Musician:



I Decided to give him a horn rather than the battle drum so that i could give him a shield. I dont know about any of you but i want my saurus to all look uniform, i.e all with shields.

The Standard Bearer:



For the command group as a whole i recycled parts from the seventh edition Saurus Cavalry such as the arms and head for the Champion, the horn for the Musician and the banner for the Standard Bearer

Skink Brave Conversion:



Not a massively epic conversion but i exchanged his incy wincy hand weapon for a larger one to make him stand out a little more against the rest.

its funny you should say you want your saurus to look uniformed because im trying to do quite the opposite
anyway i cant wait to see how it turns out
