    That looks awesome!
I just have one question: why did you paint the spear tip silver? I still think it looks really good I am just curious. :smug:

    Re: My Carnosaur Lord

You'd might be surprised how many times I've been asked that. It's quite alright though. It's because I tried an obsidian dullish fluff following look and the colors just didn't contrast at all. I then tried a dull iron color with gold in the mix, still it wouldn't contrast or stick out like I wanted it too. So I tried chainmail with mithril silver highlights and I had it!

It looks really good! Reminds me of the colour scheme for my carnosaur. I really like the scales, and the old blood, if I were to make one criticism its that the skin of the carni looks a bit.... Flat? Maybe make the recesses a shade darker, or add a slightly lighter shade to the upper most highlights to make it pop a bit more? I went right up to sunburst yellow from scab red on mine, depends on what look you are going for though. Go the darker way if you don't want him to be too bright.

    Still looks really cool overall!

    Re: My Carnosaur Lord

I actually did have his skin go from solarus orange to sunburst yellow, but it ended with too much composition between him and the rider, and nothing stood out, it just sorta blended.

I stripped him and worked my way up from solarus orange to iyandan darksun from a wash of gyphonne sephia and when I put the rider on, it looked exactly the way it does now. The Carnosaur stands out obviously because he's the mount and the Old blood is bright and with his analogous color scheme betweeen the Carnosaur. I got the effect I wanted so I left it like that!

And thank you everyone for the comments! :D

Nice. That, in my own opinion, rivals the Masterclass models. The carnosaur looks very alive and ready to tear apart an enemy warrior.

But the only I thing that might help is that the flesh does look a bit flat.

Well since I've gotten so many comments on my carnosaur, I'll think I'll start posting other parts of my army on here. As well as the pieces when I finish them.

Here's a Kroxigor I've been working on today, he still needs some more highlighting, and some touch ups, but he's table ready! -

You put some time in the kroxi's weapon, but the skin isn't done at all, the eyes and the skin don't look real at all, sorry I'm being so harsh (I don't paint that well myself), but the way he looks now is just way worse then your carnosaur, if you think I'm too harsh, you're right, srry,

I think the main issue with the new ones is the shading, it looks too dark. The recesses are so dark that it looks a lot like a comic book picture. It might be the style that you were going for, but it likely won't fit all too well with the way other people have painted their armies.

Like I said, he's not done yet. :) Believe me, everyone says that and then sees the finished product.

Good start for a WiP, based on the carno lord I look forward to seeing it finished. ;) Are you sticking with the blue highlights as they are and using washes to blend them, or going to change it?

Definitely using blue washes to finish him up, I finished him today at my local game store. It's an absolutely beautiful store! I wanna brag about how great this store is - http://www.empiregamesaz.com/

Anyways, here's the finished Kroxigor -
(The rest of the model can be seen above)

Its all good up in da hood! :D
Don't worry bout it my buddies call my army the ugly ducklings because when I'm painting them they look funny, and horrible. But when they're done they are like the ugly duckling who turned into a swan.

    :D

    And thanks man!

    Krox looks pretty nice now!
The only things I would suggest are the teeth look a little flat (e.g. one colour only) and so does the gold, if you could fix them that Krox would look pretty nice!
