I'm not an expert, but I was once told that if you have a magic weapon you don't get a sheild. Or was it if you have a magic sheild you have to use a basic weapon. Maybe I'm wrong. XP

A few comments first: - You cannot have 2 dispel scrolls in your army, even if they are carried by different casters - A priest with 1 killing blow attack isn't that awesome for those extra points - Shield of the mirrored pool isn't that usefull either, since in all common lores combined there are 10- magic missiles - Plaque of dominion is another not so usefull magic item since those wizards often benefit from the general or bsb; 18 inch is not that far either - This is something I truly not understand, I might think your kidding here, giving a unit that already causes fear a banner that makes them cause fear. And even if double fear means terror its still not worth 1/48 of your point allowance. As far as I know concerning the magic weapon is that you get the armour save bonus from the shield if you have a magic weapon, but you will lose the parry save. I'm not sure if you lose the parry save if you have a magic shield and a normal hand weapon, but I think you will get the save.
Well as mentioned in first post, I've never used lizards and it's been over 6mths since I played so that's why I posted the list to get opinions on things to change/add.. I'm still not used to what the lizard men can take and what they can't..
You could take a dispel scroll on one and the cube of darkness on the other. That would essentially get you 2 dispel scrolls with the possibility of ending a magic phase as well. I think I would rather drop the cavalry down to 10 and combine it into one unit. Then I would beef up the salamanders to at least 2 in each unit. You will not need extra handlers as that will give you 6 handlers for the unit. I would almost be willing to eliminate the cavalry altogether in favor of either an ancient stegadon or some Terradons. Heck, even a unit of Kroxigors. The reason being that I do not usually take cavalry unless I put some scar vets or an old blood in the unit to add some extra punch. Just my 2 cents.
Do Kroxies have to go with a unit of skinks with sheilds? So the cav is not worth having unless there is a scar vet with them? i havent played any games with Lizards yet so i don't know what works well, might post a revised list today, when i get the chance. thanks Ari
