THe problem with my saurus warriors is that I bought a bunch of metal ones that have like a leather hide shield. It looks good, but there are no shiny parts to them or scales.

Well that's a bit more difficult then. lol.

I can't remember what those shields look like. If you like the new shields better maybe just buy a couple of sprues of them?

Basically I used extreme highlighting on the shields. Works on most things quite nicely. Basically it goes dark colour, outline/line bright version of dark colour. So enchanted blue/ice blue, red gore/blood red, dark angels green/scorpion green would allo be good combo's.

The TG look unique if not stellar. Just a personal preference for scales though, but it is surprising how well the two different parts fit together. Just pretty up those bases and you'll have a great looking army there.

The bases are easy to add to. When I get time I'll go back over all of them and add static grass and the like.

I don't know what I should paint next. I'm thinking either another oldblood on foot, or maybe a priest. Not sure.

I also have some dark elf stuff to be painted.....either way they "hopefully" will come out okay.

Those models all look quite good! I can't wait to see more! Do you think you might replace your Slann Mage-Priest with the Venerable Lord Kroak model? I think it would go well with the skeleton-colored Saurus.

thinking about those genestealer warrioirs, what did you do to the second set of holes that the second set of arms are to be in? otherwise it looks good, but i find it a bit to "shiny"

Thanks, I had to fill in behind the eyes and then do the paint job on them in order to get them like it.

They are "shiney", but the pics make them look more shiney that in real life. I think that Lizards should be a bit shiney, just think about how snakes skin looks

I filled in the spare arm holes with green stuff and sanded it down.
