And nice it is, very good work. I really like the purple shading effect in the crest.

What colours/techniques did you use to tackle the blue? It looks great.

And that peak I see of yellow and purple scales, are you doing the scales on all your models like that? I'd love to see a couple of other models that show a bit more scale with that effect if you have the pics. :)
 
I won't agree that it's nice until you show the pics of it's based state.
Besides, you should have gotten around to taking a pic of it anyway...
