    Hi folks.

I post stuff on a number of forums and am frequently asked questions about how I did certain things. Rather than trying to post how to guides on a number of forums, I've decided to centralise everything and have started a blog (pinmanminiaturepainter.wordpress.com)

So far I think there are 8 tutorials on the site and I would like to try and add a new one at least once a week. Please check it out and if you like what you see, follow me. Also, if there's something you've been struggling with, why not request a tutorial? If it's something I can do, I will put one together complete with photos - I always need good ideas and inspiration for new tutorials.

These are the tutorials so far, I will post new links as and when I produce new tutorials.

Thanks for sharing and taking the time to make that blog! I think your style is really great, you explain each step in enough detail and the photos are very good to add even more explanation. Some of them are a bit dark, though, maybe you could pay some extra attention to the lighting the next time you take pictures? Anyhow, I'll be keeping an eye on this blog, for sure!

I've been trying to improve the image quality using white balancing before uploading them. Some of the earlier tutorials suffer a bit and I have been trying to update the photo retrospectively but it's largely a question of time.

The newer articles all have white balanced images that a bit better.

The other issue I've been having is natural light. I paint in a conservatory and it's been very sunny recently meaning there's lots of natural light. This has made photography more problematic. At night when it's dark, I have a good lighting setup.

Photography lighting is definitely something I'm working on.
