after many moons I finally got my awful phone to hand me my (not so great) pictures of my army... I wanted to post some of these a while back but *glares at phone* any ways here's my WiP lizardmen army specifically the ones iv actually finished painting (oh and fair warning...i'm not a fan of basing so they are pretty bland...) the model I just recently finished and most enjoyed painting (despite being awful in TT) my old blood on carno scarvet on carno (was an ebay rescue and missing an arm) my finecast(ugh) slann who had an accident with superglue spilling onto his head causing me to rip the paint off it, standard bubble holes and the banner having one of the tassels break off my cowboys my cowboy unit bastilodon engine of the gods on ancient stego ebay rescue baby stegos (one had horrendous gaps in the joint, another came without crew or bow and the 3rd looked like it was dipped in paint by a 5 year old) skin chief and 2 skink priests and no the one in the middle is totally not a chief from the plastic stego with a spare banner replacing the spear 5th edition salamanders thats all for now currently slowly working on 44 temple guard , a metal slann(which I got for 80$ total on ebay) 34 saurus warriors and a metal old blood on foot
Your army is great. What stood out to me, was the Troglodon and Carnosaur. Especially the blending with the orange and yellow on the troglodon looked great.
Those are some good looking models. I especially enjoyed the troglodon, bastilodon (who looks like his on his way to a rave!) and ancient steg. I can't wait to see more, are you going to post a full army photo?
I will try to get a full army pic or 2 my phone takes like 2 hours to send like 4 pictures to my email and trying to upload them directly to my pc also ends with frustration lol edit: also trying to position the cold ones in a way where they can rank up properly (cow boys included) was a royal pain seriously what you dont see on them are the colour coded marks on the bases so i dont go insane trying to rank them up for games and stuff <_<
also got a painting question how do you properly highlight black with grey? its one of my biggest weaknesses also how do you paint patterns like stripes and spots and get them to look good? closest iv done is the brown stripes on my cold ones and those I just haphazardly slashed on with random brush strokes and due to the green I use blend in
Awesome! How did you manage to fit the coldone riders on the dark elf coldones? Could use som tips haha
Your Troglodon is beautiful. I love that blue and yellow paint scheme. Is it really that bad of a model to use in play though?
