Can you even cast that spell on other units than skellies and zombies?

    Hmm...

Oh well, I'm not a VC player but I suppose it's D6 wounds...

    Cheers!

Raise Dead allows you to summon a unit of Zombies. I assume you are speaking about Invocation of Nehek which allows you to add D6 Wounds worth of models to a unit. The restriction is this: Undead units gain D6 Wounds but if they are Ethereal or Vampiric, they only gain 1 Wound. Fell Bats, being only Undead, will gain D6 Wounds.

Yes its my fault, the spell is Invoc. of Nehek... and it says,"Vampiric, Ethereal or non-Infantery units gain 1 wound"

is fell bat an infantry unit ?
is bat swarm an infantry unit ?

The end of the VC book in REFERANCE list they are under infantry title.... but in BRB infantry defines as soldiers fight on foot...

I'dassume that if they're listed as infantry in the summary of their book then they are indeed infantry.

Ah, I see the crux of the issue now (should just ask that exactly next time lol). Yes they are infantry.

When the main rulebook says that "Infantry includes all units of foot troops" it is directly contrasting with the next section - Calvary. It doesnt mean "only things which touch the ground with 2 feet" it means "things which arent riding something".

In addition, Carlo Marx hit this one on the head. They are listed as Infantry in their book, therefore they are Infantry.
