Well for starters, definitely take the Salamanders. They are fantastic at roasting elves of any type. The Stegadon should be okay, an Ancient Stegadon is overkill since you only need S5 to wound elves on a 2+.

Saurus and Temple Guard blocks will be a good backbone to your army. It’s debatable whether taking Temple Guard without a Slann is a good idea or not since Saurus are nearly as good and a lot cheaper.

Temple Guard have a couple advantages, they can wound elves on a 2+ instead of a 3+ and they force DE Core (but not DE Specials) to roll 4+ to hit them rather than 3+. If you choose to take Temple Guard make sure to take a Banner of Eternal Flame. Ten points is cheap for Hydra insurance.

I wouldn’t field the Kroxigor without Skinks. By themselves the Kroxigor wouldn’t last long. I wouldn’t field a Skroxigor block without A LOT of Skinks since you will need to maintain steadfast to keep your Skroxigor block in place. If they can maintain Steadfast they will negate enemy Stomps and not have to worry about Fear. If you go Skinks without Kroxigor I’d suggest having them skirmish and running with javelins and shields. Then sending the skirmishers against the low armor save elite targets (especially Witch Elves) to whittle them down with poison shooting.

I have not used Saurus Cavalry against elves of any type yet so I can only guess if they’d be good or not. I guess they’d be okay, neither good nor bad. Saurus Cavalry use depends on your ability to make clever charges.
