    Isn't Bloodbowl played in an alternate reality version of "Ye Olde Worlde" that it shares with WFRP and the board game, what was it, HeroQuest/Talisman?

    Point is, it needn't have been blown to smithereens, and the whole sequence leading to the Stormcast Sigmarines need never have happened.

    Kindof. It is sort of a parody of American NFL football, but with some influence from rugby, and some Australian football. The field is called a pitch. There are yard-lines but they differ from the way the NFL stripes a field.
